1About This Privacy Policy

Miclyn Inc. ("Miclyn," "we," "us," or "our") provides managed IT, cybersecurity, networking, secure-building, and related technology services, primarily in New Mexico. We respect your privacy, and we want you to understand how we handle information.

This policy covers information we handle as a business, for example when you visit miclyn.com, fill out a form, contact us, or engage our services. It does not, by itself, govern data we handle inside a customer's systems while delivering managed services. That data is handled mainly under our customer agreements, statements of work, and any data-processing terms, as described in Section 7.

2Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

Information you give us

• Contact and business details such as your name, company, job title, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
• The content of messages, form submissions, quote or service requests, and support inquiries you send us.
• Information you provide during onboarding or while we scope a project or service.

Information we collect automatically

• Technical details such as IP address, browser type, device and operating system, and referring pages.
• Usage information about how you navigate and interact with our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

Information from other sources

• Business-contact and firmographic details from third-party data providers and enrichment tools, which help us understand who is interested in our services and keep our records accurate.
• Referrals and publicly available business information.

Customer-systems data

• When we deliver managed services, we necessarily handle information about your organization's infrastructure, devices, accounts, and users. How we treat that data is described in Section 7.

3How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you (for example, when you submit a form, email us, call us, or use our live chat), automatically through your use of our website, and from third-party service providers and data-enrichment tools that we use for sales, marketing, and record-keeping.

4How We Use Information

• To respond to your inquiries, provide quotes, and communicate with you about your requests.
• To provide, support, maintain, and improve our services.
• To operate, secure, and improve our website.
• To send you information you have asked for, and, where appropriate, relevant updates and educational content (see Section 11).
• To keep business records, manage our relationships, and understand interest in our services.
• To protect our business, enforce our agreements, and meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

5Cookies, Analytics & Similar Technologies

Our website runs on the HubSpot platform, which we also use as our customer-relationship and marketing system. Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for a few purposes:

• Essential cookies that make the site work.
• Analytics cookies that help us understand traffic and how the site is used.
• Functional tools such as web forms and live chat.

To operate our website and business, we may use service providers for website hosting and analytics, CRM, forms and chat, sales engagement, and business-contact enrichment. We do not currently use our website to serve third-party advertising. You can control or refuse cookies through your browser settings and through any cookie banner presented on the site. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

6How We Disclose Information

Miclyn does not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information to service providers and other parties for the purposes described in this policy. In particular, we may disclose information in these situations:

• Service providers and technology partners that help us run our business and deliver services, such as our website and CRM platform, communications and analytics tools, and IT and security vendors, under agreements that limit how they may use the information.
• Professional advisers such as accountants, auditors, and attorneys.
• Authorities and others when legally required, for example to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or valid government request, or to protect our rights, safety, and property.
• In a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, where information may be shared with parties involved in the transaction.

Some of the service providers described in Section 5 receive limited website and contact information so they can perform their function. We do not permit them to sell your information for their own advertising purposes.

7Customer & Managed-Service Data

When you are a Miclyn customer, we handle data within your systems and accounts to deliver managed services, such as monitoring, support, maintenance, security, and administration.

That data is governed primarily by the agreement between us, including your service agreement, statements of work, any data-processing or confidentiality terms, and applicable law, rather than by this website policy. Where those agreements and this policy differ regarding customer-systems data, the agreement controls. We handle customer data to provide and support the services you have engaged us for, to secure and maintain your environment, and as your agreement and the law allow.

8Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and loss. No website, system, or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal information, we will respond and provide any notifications required by applicable law, including New Mexico's data breach notification requirements.

9Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide and support our services, run our business, and meet our legal, tax, and contractual obligations. When we no longer need it, we take steps to delete or de-identify it. Retention of customer-systems data follows the applicable customer agreement.

10Your Choices & Privacy Requests

Depending on where you live and the law that applies to you, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to request access to it, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to or limit certain uses.

To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 15. We will respond consistent with applicable law. To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some information may be subject to legal or contractual limits, for example customer-systems data governed by a customer agreement, which we may need to direct to the appropriate customer.

11Marketing Communications

If you have shared your contact information with us or done business with us, we may send you relevant updates and educational content. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. We will still send you non-marketing messages related to your account, services, quotes, or requests.

12Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

13Third-Party Sites and Services

Our website and communications may link to third-party sites and services that we do not control, such as vendor, partner, or social-media pages. This policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party you interact with.

14Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
