Sound familiar?

Most businesses don’t need more technology.
They need someone reliable to own it.

If any of these feel familiar, you’re in good company — it’s why most of our customers first called us.

You can’t get a straight answerTickets sit, updates never come, and “IT” too often means waiting.
You’re not sure anyone’s watching securityYou have antivirus — but would anyone actually catch a real attack?
Every request feels like a surprise billIt’s never clear what’s included and what’s going to cost extra.
You’ve become the accidental IT personYou didn’t sign up to reset passwords and chase vendors — but here you are.
What Miclyn does

One partner to run it, support it, secure it, and plan ahead.

No jargon, no runaround. Here’s what managed IT actually means when Miclyn does it.

We run your technology

Proactive monitoring, updates, and maintenance so problems get caught and fixed before they slow your team down.

We answer — and actually help

Real people on our New Mexico team — you reach someone who knows your business, not a call center three time zones away.

We protect your business

Modern endpoint protection on every device, with an active managed security operation available for real 24/7 threat response.

We help you plan ahead

Microsoft 365, backups, vendors, and a regular review — so your technology supports where the business is going.

And it’s not just laptops. Miclyn also manages your network, Microsoft 365 and cloud, servers and virtualized infrastructure, and backup & recovery — the systems your business actually runs on. If your environment is more involved, we can support that too.

Before you choose an IT provider

Four questions every business should ask.

Two providers can both say “managed IT and security” and quote a similar price — yet protect you very differently. Plenty of good providers do these things well, and plenty don’t. These four questions help you tell the difference — with anyone, including us.

You’ll be a sharper buyer after reading this, whether or not you ever call Miclyn.

QUESTION 1

Is my protection basic antivirus, or modern endpoint detection & response (EDR)?

Traditional antivirus

Recognizes threats it already knows about from a list. Useful, but it can miss newer attacks that don’t match anything on that list.

EDR — what to look for

Watches how each device actually behaves and can flag and help contain suspicious activity that traditional antivirus often misses. Included on every Miclyn plan.

Ask any provider: “Is my protection antivirus, or endpoint detection and response?”
QUESTION 2

When an alert fires, does software just log it — or does a person actually respond?

An alert goes off

Security software flags something and sends an alert — often into an inbox that may not be watched after hours.

Someone responds

Trained security people review the alert, work to contain the threat, and reach out to you — instead of leaving it in a queue.

Ask: “When something looks wrong at 2 a.m., does a person actually act on it?”
QUESTION 3

Is there an actual 24/7 security team behind this — or just monitoring software?

Monitoring

Systems are “being watched” — which often means dashboards exist, not that anyone is on duty overnight.

Active managed security (MDR / SOC)

A real security operations team watching around the clock and ready to act on threats. Included on Miclyn Complete.

Ask: “Is there a real 24/7 security team behind this, or monitoring software alone?”
QUESTION 4

Are you protecting just my computers — or also my email, cloud, and logins?

Endpoint only

Protection stops at the laptop — while your email, files, and logins live in the cloud.

Endpoint + cloud & identity

Your devices and your Microsoft 365 or cloud accounts and logins are protected — an area many of today’s attacks target. Included on Complete, matched to your environment.

Ask: “Are you protecting just my computers, or also my email, cloud, and logins?”
What “secure” means here

Real protection you can picture — not a wall of acronyms.

Modern protection on every device

Every computer we manage runs advanced endpoint detection and response (SentinelOne) — protecting by how threats behave, not just a list of known viruses. On every plan.

A real security team, watching 24/7

On Complete, an active managed security operation (Blackpoint) watches around the clock. If something looks wrong, trained people investigate, work to contain it, and contact you — day or night.

Your cloud & logins, protected too

We extend protection to Microsoft 365, email, and user logins — an area many modern attacks target — with the right controls for your environment.

Backup & recovery, so a bad day isn’t a disaster

Your data and Microsoft 365 are backed up and recoverable — because being protected also means getting back to work quickly if something goes wrong.

Not sure which plan fits? Start with a free Technology & Security Review — we’ll look at your environment and recommend what makes sense, without loading you up with services you don’t need.

Have servers or specialized infrastructure? We manage those too. Because a simple file server and a business-critical virtualization host aren’t the same job, server support is scoped separately — based on workload, complexity, backup needs, and business criticality — and always quoted clearly before you commit.

Proof over promises

Built on technology security teams trust — backed by local accountability.

SecureIT runs on the same tools relied on by security teams everywhere, delivered and supported by a New Mexico team you can actually reach.

Local, and it matters

Not a national help desk with an Albuquerque zip code.

Miclyn is New Mexico–based and owner-led. When you call, you reach people who know your business — and can be on-site when it counts.

  • We understand New Mexico businesses — Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, and across the state.
  • Local availability and accountability, including on-site support when remote isn’t enough.
  • Owner access — if something isn’t right, you can reach the person whose name is on the company.
  • Real, local accountability from the people who actually do the work.
Straight answers

Questions New Mexico owners actually ask.

What exactly do you manage?
Your computers, network, Microsoft 365 (or Google Workspace), security, backups, servers and virtualized infrastructure, and the vendors behind them — the day-to-day technology your team depends on to work.
What happens when something breaks — and who answers?
You reach our New Mexico team. Most issues are handled quickly and remotely, and we can be on-site when it’s needed — you talk to people who know your business, not a call center three time zones away. Our help desk is staffed Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain time; on Complete, the managed security operation watches for threats around the clock, every day.
What does “security” actually mean with Miclyn?
Every plan includes modern endpoint detection and response on your devices. Complete adds an active 24/7 managed security operation — real people who watch, investigate, work to contain threats, and contact you — plus protection for your Microsoft 365, email, and logins. No provider can promise nothing will ever happen; our job is to reduce the risk and respond fast when it counts.
Is someone actually watching, and what happens if there’s a threat?
On Complete, yes — a 24/7 managed security team. If they see a real threat they don’t just send an alert; they investigate, work to contain it, and reach out to you. That’s the difference between monitoring and managed response.
Do you support Microsoft 365? What about Google Workspace?
Both. For Microsoft 365 customers, Complete includes the applicable cloud, identity, and email protections. For Google Workspace, Complete includes the protections our stack supports for that environment — we’ll show you exactly what applies during your review. We won’t bill you for Microsoft-specific services you can’t use.
What does it cost, and am I locked into things I won’t use?
Core is $69/user/month and Complete is $99/user/month. We’ll recommend the plan that fits your environment and explain exactly what’s included before you commit — without loading you up with services you don’t need.
What if we have servers or more complex infrastructure?
We manage server environments too — physical and virtual — alongside your workstations and cloud. Because servers vary so much, there’s no one-size public price. During your review we look at each server’s role, workload, backup and recovery needs, virtualization, and how critical it is to the business, then identify any server-management cost clearly before you commit.
How hard is it to switch from my current IT provider?
Easier than most people fear. We review your environment, document it, and take over support in a planned way so your team keeps working. Your free review is the first step, with no obligation.
What happens after I reach out?
We schedule a short, no-pressure conversation, take a light look at how your IT is supported and protected today, and send you a plain-English summary of what’s working, what’s at risk, and what you’d actually need — whether or not you hire Miclyn.
